Manage the Programme activities for all Electrical Engineering commodities, leading the deliverables and priority requirements and interface between the programme and engineering teams. Key role to ensure programme focus within engineering team and represent the functional requirements within the programme.
Understand the needs of the Programme and how they relate to Electrical Engineering delivery. Represent Electrical Engineering in all programme activities, identify programme requirements and priorities to the delivery team. Manage the programme status and report out for the function.
The role will have no direct reports but must lead & motivate the engineers working on their programme to deliver. Will report out directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and Programme Director.
1.Degree in Engineering / Engineering related field (BEng / BSC) – BEng Engineering Desirable
2.At least 7 year relevant Electrical Engineering and Programme experience
3.Good broad component knowledge across the Electrical Engineering commodity groups (EDS, Electronics, Displays, Infotainment, Switches, Sensors and Integration).
4.Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
5.Experience of joint venture component localisation with multi national OEM
6. Willing to travel within China and Internationally
7. Willing to take the lead and challenge others to deliver
8. Good general computer skills inc. MS office suite
