1. Product development

• Identifying most adequate suppliers in terms of desirability;

• Following and improving performance of suppliers;

• Developing products within his/ her category following the brief and instruction (drawings, description, specifications,....) from the developers in charge of Oxybul’s brand (Talent Brand);

• Mastering all aspects related to his/her category, including costing breakdown, construction and production process;

• Working closely with the industrial engineer for the optimization of the construction; with the quality manager for avoiding any risk and meeting quality standards; with the capacity planner for sharing all aspects potentially impacting the order follow-up;

• Managing his/her supplier’s base by ensuring the best level of massification and risk.

2. Supplier sourcing and education

• Understanding the level of expertise of each the category’s suppliers

• Monitoring performance and following up the implementation of action plan to develop performance

• Regularly visiting factories to ensure suppliers to be aligned with OEJ’s requirements (alignment with values, social, quality, construction and brand’s understanding);

3. Negotiation and problem solving

• Negotiating with suppliers all what is related to products including price, quality issue;

• Support to capacity planner in case of negotiation for late shipment.

Profile:

• 10 years experience in product development - for the categories of wooden toys and art&craft toys;

• In an international buying office - european brand;

• Good command of English

• Ability to work in autonomy - reporting to sourcing manager based in Hong Kong

• Ability to work with different parties including suppliers, developers in France, colleagues in Hong Kong and Shanghai
