The role will oversee and monitor the company’s production control functions including creation and maintenance of production orders, addressing material shortages. Review of the Mater Production Schedule to ensure that resources (manpower, material, and machine capacity) are available to support the demand plan.

 

Responsibilities:

1, Participate in cross-functional teams supporting existing and new products from prototype to volume production;

2, Establish weekly and daily production plan for production;

3, Execute and monitor the production functions including production order review, material shortage;

4, Run daily production meetings with production, quality and engineering, etc to review issues and ensure continuity of production;

5, Ensure timely delivery of orders;

6, Plan production to eliminate customer shortages while minimizing finished good inventory;

7, Monitor the slow moving and dead stock;

8, Control the safety stock level of raw material and finish goods;

9, other duties as assigned;

Justification：

1, 3+ years progressive experience in production planning and scheduling in a cable plant preferred;

2, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;

3, Demonstrated knowledge and skill in SAP or comparable ERP enviroments;

4, Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills;

5, Skills with common workplace software( word, excel, etc) with the ability to create and maintain metrics;

6, Fluent english reading and speaking is needed;
