Job description:

  

1.  Develop in-line and final quality inspection procedures that effectively reduces each factory’s home textile returns and improves their on-time deliveries.

  

2.  Develop a technical and business report with factory management, staff, and personnel.

  

3.  Anticipate and correct textile product issue(s) during PD & PM stage.

  

4.  Ensure proper QA coverage at all factory locations.

  

5.  Train, schedule and coach staff.

  

6.  Ensure staff is properly equipped to perform their jobs effectively.

  

7.  Evaluate Quality team performance on a quarterly and annual basis.

  

8.  Understand and train staff in textile testing and regulatory requirements.

  

9.  Assist key suppliers to develop their own in-house quality control processes and testing systems.

  

10. Ensure all production corrective/preventive action plans are implemented in a timely and effective manner.

  

11. Ensure on-going textile products are tested in a regular basis.

  

12. Understand the manufacturing strengths and weaknesses of each supplier, and give proper suggestions to PD & PM, as well as management from time to time.

  

13. Develop & up-grade Textile testing requirement.

  

14. Provide Quality statistical information as required.

  

15. Develop next level of Management staff.

  

16. Strong English communication and work with English speaking customers on quality claims and action plan.
