Employer: The candidate will be hired by Gate (YingMeng) Shanghai Trading Co Ltd (Chinese name : 楹勐（上海）贸易有限公司) the Chinese subsidiary of CB Packaging belonging to Bettinelli Group, a leading Italian manufacturer company of high quality packaging machines for sanitary disposable items such as baby diapers, sanitary napkins and under-pads with subsidiaries in Germany, France, U.S., India and China. CB Packaging aims to be the global leader by providing customizable high-quality machines and an impeccable customer service. The operational office of the employer is located in Shanghai, West Nanjing Road, N.288 - Executive Centre.

Profile: The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with consistent experience in the packaging industry machines, capable to perform installation and maintenance services.

The candidate is a native Chinese speaker, fluent in English with professional and engaging personality.

The candidate should be able to interact with clients, provide suitable solutions according to their technical demands, be able to communicate efficiently with the Italian HQ on machines technical issues and weak points and participate in upgrades discussion and subsequent implementation. Skilled and high interest in mechanics, physics, math and complex machines would be a plus. The candidate shall be available to travel frequently in China Mainland Area.

The candidate shall be available to travel overseas (can be estimated 2-3 trips per year for a period of 10-15 days each trip – anyway number of trips and length of stay might be longer), especially to Italy, to undertake specific training programmes in the Italian HQ and/or attend technical meetings and workshops on new machine development projects or machine upgrade projects implementation and also to attend to international exhibitions or faris.

Duties and Job Responsibilities : Perform complex installation operations of packaging machines in clients’factories; efficient communication and promptly offer technical observations and feedback to Italian HQ Technical Head Office on the installation and maintenance service performed (the Technical Head Office might supervise/assist the intervention through vid-calls or send specialized personnel to China – especially after COVID period); provide valuable insights on clients and market needs, especially under the technical point of view; provide customer training, on-site debugging, guidance and other technical support work; provide product maintenance (not limited to product calibration), software and product communication problems and other after-sales services; Cooperate with sales to promote products and maintain brand image.

Candidate Background:

Graduated in physics, mechanical engineer, math or related technical subjects;

Experience as technical/service Engineer in packaging machines / non-woven industry is a must;

Minimum experience at least 3 years.

Good knowledge of English language: the candidate must be capable to communicate effectively on technical matters with the Italian HQ.

Capability to read and discuss about technical drawings.

Language Skills preferred: Mandarin: Native; English: Fluent/Business; Italian would be a plus.

IT: Windows, MS Office expert user, CAD and other technical software experience is highly preferred.

The salary level for the first year shall be within the range of 12,000 Rmb to 15,000 Rmb Gross salary (税前) – negotiable within the range according to the actual experience and capabilities of the specific candidate.
