职位描述
This is a 4 month training program for freshmen willing to become game designers. If a challenging and rewarding career is what you seek, this is the job for you. You will be working on some very exciting projects. To qualify for this position, you must have basic knowledge with game design and a basic understanding of game mechanics. Creativity and strong visual aesthetics are also a must. Most of all, you must be a gamer at heart and passionate about creating novel gaming experiences.
Responsibilities
- Work with level artists and programmers to develop prototypes
- Ensure balance between game aesthetics and technical limitations
- Do game test with AAA PC and Console game playing experience
- Attend training sessions and keep good notes
- Be self-motivated to take on assignments
- Watch a lot of international movies and TV shows
- Practice patience, endurance and proactivity
- Learn even if it’s sometimes hard
- Bring a positive, go-getter attitude
Qualifications
- Great communication skills
- A passion for game design
- Strong problem solving skills
- Rich experience in gaming (of any kind) and passionate for game design
- Good sense of aesthetics, design, colors and an eye for composition
- Any game development knowledge
- Conversational English and fluent Chinese
- Working proficiency in written English, and an appreciation for well-written documentation
- A programming or scripting language understanding is a plus
- Any Unreal Engine or Unity knowledge is a big plus
