1.    Train, monitor, evaluate and assist all teachers and teaching assistants.

2.    Mentor all beginning early childhood teachers.

3.    Execute the implementation of prepared lesson plans with objectives and learning outcomes that will engage children and to meet varying needs and learning styles of children.

4.    Establish and maintains a positive working relationship with parents and other staff members.

5.    Establish a nurturing relationship with the children in addition to serving as a positive role model.

6.    Treat children in a positive manner that encourages individuality and positive self-esteem.

7.    Monitor plans and prepare class projects, field trips and other experiential activities.

8.    Track all teaching materials stock numbers and consolidate orders from teachers for replenishment or new orders.

9.    Evaluate, modify and enrich the existing curriculum to match learners’ needs.

10. Complete performance evaluations for all assigned teachers and teacher assistants.

11. Lead weekly teacher meetings to evaluate and review lessons to make the necessary adjustments.

12. Possess knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to young children.

13. Possess knowledge of innovative lesson planning for children between ages of 3-6 years.

14. Possess knowledge and experience of age-appropriate activities pertaining to early childhood and English language learning.

15. Possess knowledge of age-appropriate activities and child development    philosophies and best practices for 3 - 6 year old children.

16. Lead monthly lesson plan meetings and professional development meetings.

17. Manage teaching budget.

18. Monitor and Implement the HEART principles of Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork

Qualifications:

1)    Preferred 5 years teaching early childhood education

2)    Prefer Masters in Education in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Bachelors will be considered with commensurate experience)

3)    Preferred 3-5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in early childhood education.

4)    ESL Instructional Credentials

5)    Preferred qualifications / experience in Theatre and Drama.
