MS SQL Server DBA

  Job Description

? Installation and configuration of MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016

? Good to have knowledge on either MY SQL, DB2 or Oracle.

? Job Monitoring & Executions

? User Access Management

? Security management and Disk Space Management

? Database Space Management

? Database Creations, Database Configuration Changes

? Creating and managing indexes; Monitoring Index

? Analysis and performance Tuning of SQL performance issues

? Maintenance of database maintenance activities like index maintenance, statistics update, DBCC, backup management etc.

? Database Backup/Recovery – Design

? Database Refreshes

? Maintain/Execute DDL/DML Changes

? Database Upgrades

? Plan and upgrade latest service packs

? Good in High Availability i.e. Always on, Clustering, Log shipping, Mirroring and all types of Replication

? Good Knowledge/Hands on SQL DM.

Expert in Security, Maintenance Plan ,index

? DB Performance.

? Good Knowledge in data, log file and architecture

? DB Migration; Source code/objects migrations, Disk Space and server

? Plan and execute DR setup

? Automation of Alerts in the Database.

? Knowledge of SSIS\SSAS\SSRS – Added advantage

? Plan and upgrade latest service packs

? DBMS Feature implementation like Partitioning, Compression, Data Archival\Purging.

? Problem Management & RCA with recommendations for no occurrence ·
