Stack Modular is a design+build modular company specializing in purpose-built steel modular projects throughout North America. With offices in China, Canada, and soon, the US, our international team, comprised of Sales & Marketing/BD, Design & Project Management, Procurement, Production, and Logistics Departs, is structured to tackle some of the most challenging markets in the US and Canada. Another dynamic that separates our company from the competition is our partnership with Bird Construction, a publicly traded GC and one of the largest in Canada. They're instrumental in managing and optimizing our client and project relationships to ensure we're delivering fully-serviced and turn-key construction solutions.

We're looking to expand our team with an Architect/Architectural Designer. At Stack you'll be collaborating with a diverse crew of PMs and designers and at lightning pace, as we aim to bring efficiency to the design as well as delivery.

Requirements:

? min 5 years of professional engineering experience

? firm understanding of Revit, and BIM modeling

? ability to manage design expectations and consultants

? eager to explore new materials and methods to push efficiency

? English language

Responsibilities:

? manage Structural and LGS (Light Gauge Steel) dwgs

? Assist other divisions in drafting/design when needed

? Revit drafting

? creation and utilization of a standard catalog of BIM parts and details to streamline technical design

? meeting/collaborating with consultants to guide modular design expectations and usher early sign-offs/submittals

? coordination with MEP, Architectural, and Fire divisions, as well as technical shop-level drafters to ensure code and building standards are being met

? exploring new tech to cost engineer modules (supply chain is a major factor!)

? some travel to plant for training and production runs

? travel to job sites, when needed
