Key Responsibilities

• Perform BASEL II IRB credit risk related analytics independently, which may include data cleaning/processing, credit risk model development, risk parameter modelling, core/advanced application, etc.
• Provide technical assistance to team members and conduct quality check when necessary.
• Prepare project related documents in Chinese or English.
• Conduct R&D with the aim of creating custom analytics solution and tackling technical issues.

• Support marketing analytics for various industries, both AP and North America.

• Understand and participate in performance management processes.

• Actively contribute to a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business. Take personal responsibility to ensure that you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of our customers.

• Contribute to analytical/consulting solutions in order to generate sustainable revenue.

• Act as project leader and/or project manager to ensure high quality project delivery to satisfy external or internal clients;

• Be able to communicate to clients effectively, manage client's expectation and enhance relationship with clients;

• Coach and develop junior analysts to make sure error free deliverables in project delivery stream;

• Contribute to new business development, pre-sales presentation and proposal preparation;

• Develop new skills and innovative solutions in bureau analytics, credit life cycle management, marketing analytics with big data and optimization using STO/market switch.

• 5+ years’ analytical experiences in Retail Banking, Telecommunications, Insurance or other related industries. Data mining and Basel II IRB development experiences are preferred.
• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research or Mathematics. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Familiar with programming in one, or more statistical software such as SAS, Python, S-plus, R, PSPSS. Certified programmer will be a plus.
• Proven ability to support the design and execution of custom analytic solutions.
• Capable of not only performing analytical work independently, but also reviewing junior analyst's work, monitoring project progress, and providing update to team leader.

• Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in written English.
