GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is set for our customer in US who is a leading developer and marketer of proprietary enterprise software and a listed company in NASDAQ. He/she will work with ODC team and customer engineering team in US directly to provide robust technical solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Act as technical expert to support customer business by figuring out solutions proactively and complete all undertakings with high quality and on schedule
· Be responsible for development/maintenance of applications, related systems and tools, including analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation
· Interact successfully with business owners, project managers and other technical teams
· Be responsible for identifying technical risks and look for mitigation plan
· Follow the company development process(CMM: Pearl)
· Help the junior developers to grow up
· Solve technical issues
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Competencies: Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Functional Competencies:
· Expertise and experience in OO methodology, design patterns and programming with VB.NET, C#
· Expertise in TDD (Test Driven Development) and Scrum is a strong plus
· Expertise in Refactory is a strong plus
· Experience in Visual Basic 6.0
· Experience in Com Callable Wrapper
· Experience in at least one source code control system
· Experience in TFS preferred
· Experience in SQL Server, SQL and Store Procedure
· Familiarity with Rich internet applications
· Familiarity with ASP.Net, ADO.Net, AJAX and Enterprise lib
· Familiarity with XML, SOAP and Web services
· Can work under pressure
· Good oral and written English
Interpersonal Competencies:
· Good communication skills
· Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude
· Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers
· Ability to work under a fast paced delivery oriented environment
2) Experience:
· At least 5 years of experience in Software development including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
· At least 5 years experience in .Net or VB6
3) Minimum educational level:
· MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
