Work Location: Chengdu (Home-based)
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing, TPU
People Management Responsibility: No

JOB OBJECTIVES:
To achieve the sales target for TPU in China; provide technical support to customers, pursue sales leads, promote products; conclude orders; arrange internal sales logistics in cooperation with CSO where necessary; develop new customers and supply updated market information to Sales Manager with the objective to realize sales targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To Plan and carry out sales activities according to annual budget.
2. To effectively carry out Sales activities to maximize customer satisfaction, establish communication with customers and establish long-term relationship.
3. To provide Technical Service (i.e. Machine Trials, New Product Development trials).
4. To provide Technical Advice/Information to customers in order to improve customer`s knowledge in processing of BASF TPU, thus helping improve customer`s end product.
5. To update, analyse & report market trends, technical developments, competitor activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. University or above, with a major in Material Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering.
2. At least 1 year experience in sales of Engineering Polymers/Elastomers.
3. Hands on experience in plastics processing is preferred.
4. Willing to travel frequently.
5. Computer literate.
6. Good command of English, spoken and written.
7. Competencies required: Striving for Achievement, Communication and Interpersonal Understanding, Analytical Thinking, Work Management, Influencing & Impact, etc.
