The Material Planning Manager will lead a team of material planners, with the responsibility of planning and scheduling the delivery of material from IC and suppliers. Guarantee availability of parts in order to fulfill the demand from different customers. Continuous improvement in lead time performance, both to customers and from internal suppliers. Define and achieve optimal inventory levels. 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

·           Manage all material planning activities to ensure OTD (end-to-end process improvements) .

·           Analyze material and supplier capacity to keep promise dates for sales orders.

·           Coordinate with customs clearance team to keep scheduled incoming parts within timeline. Optimize     process to shorten process and minimize customs cost.

·           Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery and quality meet with NPFE requirements.

·           Ensure that Planning Team is trained and effectively utilizing of ERP tools. 

 

Skills/Competencies

·           Fluent English both writing and oral

·           Good skills in ERP

·           Team player and strong leadership

·           Good at trouble shooting and problem solving

·           Strong coordinator

·           Enjoy working under high pressure

·           Good sense of customer service

 

Experience

·           At least 6 years’ experience in SCM area.

·           Foreign company’s working background, European company is preferred.

·           Engineering background would be preferred.

 

Education

·           Bachelor's degree or above
