职位描述


Functional Description


Responsible for raising awareness of the Company in the market place and bringing on new clients/new business. Key activities include: identification of new prospects (through market research), assessment of client needs and management of risk. Manages a variety of distribution channels in order to achieve specified growth and profitability targets. Appoints to client segments in accordance with client service required, profitability and potential. Key aspects are business growth, profitability and relationship development.

 

Key Deliverables


Sales, Business Relationships

  • Responsible for raising awareness of the company in the market place and bringing on new clients and business; Key activities include: identification of new prospects, assessment of client needs and selection of suitable/potential clients, establishing appropriate policy structure and management of risk in line with business segmentation

  • Responsible for developing business relationships with a variety of intermediaries: client, broker and/or customer. Will take responsibility for negotiating of terms of business: either at an individual deal or scheme level. Has a responsibility to manage relationships and deliver against operational plans

  • Apply an understanding, aligned to the appropriate competency level and business segment for policy structures, country requirements, legal aspects and where necessary, cultural sensitivities


Requirements


General Profile

  • Fully competent in own product and/or service area

  • Acts within clearly defined product area on account(s)

  • Likely to be involved in marketing activities; builds the annual plan in line with the strategy developed elsewhere

  • Be responsible for account penetration and growth of sales of current and future

  • Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance

  • Manages assigned area/accounts

  • May co-ordinate/supervise activities of individuals/the team/partners

 

Education & Work Experience 

  • Bachelor degree or above. Major in Finance, Business Management or, International Trade preferred. 

  • 3+ years working experience in foreign-owned P&C insurance company, import & export trading company or other related entities. Knowledge and experience in credit insurance preferred.

  • Good presentation and communication skills in both Chinese and English

  • Able to communicate in English

  • Good knowledge of PC application software
