      Purpose statement:

-          Execute and Manage the whole process of product development and mass production

to ensure the business follow the customer wish and the smooth flow of business from A to Z.

2.       Report Line:

-          Supervisor: Assistant Business Manager

3.       Main Responsibilities:

-          Build, Manage and Enhance relationship with customer and vendor

-          business data analysis and propose business

-          be responsible for the sales figures of each account

-          collect direction, concept/inspiration fits the customer and market to work with creative team and allocate the development with right factories to propose development in right style/cost to customers.

-          new factory sourcing and new product research, factory evaluation

-          maintain relative document and files including sample report, sending letter, cost sheet, bulk PO flow, WIP etc.

-          maintain all document on share drive according to file saving sop

-          simparel data maintenance including sample and production.

-          Cost negotiation

-          Push to learn about business projection and monitor the status closely.

 

4.       Job Requirements:

-          At least 5 years's and above of solid and actual merchandising experience in  outdoor accessories/garments 

-          Strong ownership and technical skill in development, production follow up and price negotiation

-          Knowledge of production and sampling processes as well as import and export procedures

-          Must be able to effectively interact with inter-company departments and outside factories and efficient in follow-up

-          Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and can multi-task

-          Must know how to prioritize task to ensure smooth workflow

-          Outgoing personality, creative, hard-working, self-motivated and with initiative and positive disposition

-          Excellent command of written and oral English

-          International trade /Technical or textile engineering background will be a plus.

-          Knowledge in the operation of business software (Microsoft Office)

5.       Work Relationship:

-          Internal: QA team, Sourcing Team of Materials, Traffic Team, Accounting

-          External: Suppliers, Customers, Off shore, Co-workers

Fownes Brothers established manufacturing facilities in Gloversville and Amsterdam, N.Y. in 1903. In the late 1950’s manufacturing shifted from the US and the Caribbean basin, to the Far East. First came the Philippines in 1959, then Southern China in 1984.
Both facilities are still in operation to this day.
With a growing international business, Fownes established an office in Shanghai in 2002 to address the needs of its global customers.
