The job:

As National Senior Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the overall appearance of number of BoConcept Retail Brand stores in the country ensuring the visual concept guidelines are followed, the stores displays are impeccable and updated regularly and the product selection is optimal promoting strong retail sales.

Providing training support to all internal employees and external franchisee partners, like new collection product launch training, showroom display training, other merchandise support to China commercial teams.

- Your tasks include store visits, sales statistics and space management analysis, conducting styling and visual merchandising seminars for BoConcept franchisees and store staff. 

- You will be working closely with Store Staff and Managers to achieve best displays, plan showroom changes based on statistics, implement campaigns and other events and follow up. 

-You will support new store openings planning the furniture and decorations and onsite implementation and training of the store staff on visuals. 

-You will be a part of the national organization as well as a global Visual Merchandiser team.

- Translations of tools and training materials from English are necessary. 

-You will be based in Shanghai, however, you should expect to have approx. 60-80 travel days per year within the country and abroad. 

Responsibilities:

Visual related 

-Responsible for existing/new retail store’s image and display are in the highest standard;

-Assist stores in interior decoration service aim to convert interior decoration visit into sales;

-To be responsible in new store opening showroom planning – furniture layout / accessories selection / fitting & fixture ordering / on site styling;

-Implementation and execution of store display in accordance to local/global campaign;

-Regular visit to franchisee and direct stores to assist and ensure the stores are probably displayed and styled according to BoConcept guidelines;

-Coordinating with store manager to fine tune the store image in accordance to each phase of the development trend;

-Establish and maintaining good working relationships with other departments and Sales Stores;

-Prepare VM report for DK or line manager;

-Collate local market report and conduct a presentation during global VM meeting;

-Support Marketing Plan on online typesetting editor, etc.

Merchandise and training related 

-Translation of VM/product training material from English to Chinese;

-Be responsible for all VM/Merchandise related training like new product training, showroom display training, etc. to help sales to more understand BoConcept style and can coach sales how to introduce to customers;

-Analyze BoConcept merchandise sales performance in China on a regular basis - (upholstery, board furniture, accessories, leather and fabric) and by using sales figures to coach and share/suggest China Sales Team/Franchise Stores on product specialty which enabling terminal sales;

-Other tasks assigned by line manager and senior management team

Candidate profile 任职资格

-You have extensive experience in Retail Visual Merchandising, furniture / interior design industry, college level design education. Retail experience is a plus. 

-You have strong communication skills and are excellent at promoting your ideas and motivate the store staff utilizing presentation skills to provide clear guidelines and examples. You have strong English communication skills and you communicate clearly and with impact. 

-You work with MS Office on a day-to-day basis. For example: PowerPoint, Photoshop, Graphic Design Software, 3D Software is a plus;

-As Visual Merchandiser you work with many different projects at the same time, and therefore you must be very organized and systematic, independent and take responsibility for your tasks. Strong follow-up skills and time management are must.

-You are a team player who leads by example – both internally in the market organization and the global BoConcept organization. You are self-motivated and independent, flexible to adjust to changes.
