Responsibilities:

1.       Setup Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless AP & WLC 

2.      Setup and configure complex routing & switching environments 

3.      Setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports 

         open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video 

          applications 

4.      Focus on China and co-work with GNS global to perform network 

         operation tasks

5.      Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Networking and 

         capable of learning advanced technology  

6.     Configuring and installing client and server network software for 

        upgrading and maintaining network and support IP based 

        telecommunication systems. 

7.   Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, 

      operating systems and regular maintenance with both private and 

      public facilities 

8 .   Fulfill assigned projects and program components to deliver services 

      in accordance with established objectives. 

9.  Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, 

    site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical 

    assistance and support 

10.  Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware together with 

      software applications, telephones and security systems team 

      member to resolve operational issues and restore services. 

11.  Any other duties as assigned by management 

12.  Reporting to IT Manager of infrastructure in country and align to 

      GNS team

 

Qualifications:

?   Deep understanding of networking protocols: BGP, WAN, 

    DMVPN, LAN, IPsec, EIGRP

?   CCNP certification or equivalent experience with 5 years above hands 

    on Cisco network equipment (Routers, Switches, Wireless AP&WLC) 

    configuration and management experience 

?   Familiar with Monitoring Tool like Solarwinds and Netflow.

?   Familiar with operation process like Incident Management, Change 

     Management and Problem Management, experience on ServiceNow 

    is preferred.

?   Experience with Paloalto Firewall, Juniper SSL VPN F5 BigIP is 

    preferred. 

?   Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required 

?    Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support is preferred

?    Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly 

     manner, both written and verbal in English (need to involve regional / 

     global team for support & project)

?    Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small 

     business environment
