Role Purpose


We are looking for a Data Analysis Manager which is responsible for providing data tracking, analysis, insight and report automation for our digital media campaigns across display, search, email and paid social channels. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, fast growing team focused on informing and improving the effectiveness of the planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy. You will tie the optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and the underlying business objectives.


    

The Analytics team works closely with the Planning, Digital Platform, Data Management and Solution teams across DAN and Merkle's in China and Globally. Together, these teams work collaboratively to plan, execute, measure, and optimize advertising initiatives. We're looking for an analytical and digital-savvy problem solver to help launch, troubleshoot, and measure client campaigns across multiple industry leading ad platforms, all while improving existing processes through initiatives of automation, documentation, and scale. The ideal candidate is curious and tenacious in solving problems, as well as an expert communicator – comfortable translating complex details to audiences of different technical knowledge.


Key Responsibilities


  • Data Management: Create and maintain campaign and media data repository such as media, social, SEO, SEM and Marketing Events etc. in order to pull historical data in a regular basis
  • Report Automation and visualization: Consolidate all data resources such as Adobe Analytics, Eloqua, Salesforce etc. to generate a one stop data mart, report automation and data visualization capabilities
  • Measurement Framework Design: Assist in documenting and defining standard measurements used as part of mainland China campaigns while aligning with Client's global measurement strategies. And gather and prepare weekly, monthly and Quarterly KPI results reporting
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Support manager to setup campaign analytics within Client defined platforms, as well as assess and report on campaign performance leveraging multi-channel data and multiple tools such as Datorama, Power Bi, Tableau etc.The supplier should also work with media agency to coordinate the population of campaign specific performance dashboards
  • Digital Analysis: Provide digital analytics such as website, H5 etc. for campaign optimization
  • Data Integration Across Multiple Platforms: Support to generate customer insight by leveraging external data resources as well as data export and import between internal and external tools such as Ali Databank, Ali Strategy Center, Bytedance Cloud Atlas, TDC, JD Jiushu, JD Shufang etc.
  • Business Insight: Partner with stakeholders to extract highly relevant, actionable insights and optimization recommendations, as well as executing ad-hoc analysis as required by business stakeholders at all levels


Key Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years’ working experience in data analysis and data management in the field of digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering required
  • Working experience with Python or R, as well as web analytics and media analytics is required
  • Hands-on technical experience in implementing the media ads tracking code to monitor audience full funnel behaviors from ads to brand site/APP/WeChat Mini Program
  • Hands-on technical experience in integrating cross platform data via APIs from Tencent Ad, Baidu, Little Red Book, Douyin, etc
  • Hands-on technical experience in using one of the cloud platforms (Ali/Huawei/AWS/Google Cloud) to integrate multi-channel data sources and develop data streams to automate reporting on BI tools such as Tableau, Datorama, Power BI, etc
  • Hands on experience in using China specific tools such as Databank, Strategy Center, 云图, TDC etc.
  • Good communication skills. Strong English speaking and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and drive to learn as much as possible within the digital marketing space
  • Sharp problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "change the game", self-starter attributes
