Position Summary
Our Business Development Representatives are responsible for generating leads for our inside and field sales teams. Along with building new business for Infor, BDR’s also have the opportunity to nurture our existing customer base to drive additional revenue. BDR’s will get additional insight into our sales cycle, forecasting tools, and sales methodologies.
As a BDR, you will generate qualified leads for our sales organization through social selling, e-mailing, and calling prospects and customers. You will consistently deliver our value proposition while gaining sales experience in a fun and collaborative environment. In this role you will use cutting edge marketing automation tools to prospect and nurture your sales leads.
The role reports to the Senior Manager of Business Development based in London and the Team Lead in Shanghai (Mandarin speaking).
Your Responsibilities Include
Tight alignment with the field sales organization in developing account plans and value proposition for our prospective customers
Net new business opportunity and pipeline generation through outbound calling
Multi-channel advanced prospecting within your target market – identification of the buyer persona and engagement through the phone, email and social media
Leverage sales technology stack to achieve day to day activity goals and build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities
Focus on opportunity quality - BDR owns the opportunity handover process with the field and the buyer
BDR tracks and reports in a centralized way on interactions with our buyers and sales intelligence in the CRM
Continuous feedback loop to Sales and Marketing on market intelligence gathered every day from our buyers
Reporting on campaign performance and account-based prospecting
Meet monthly and quarterly goals established for sales accepted opportunities and pipeline value

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization
Language skills – Chinese and English (verbal and written communication skills are a must)
Previous Business Development/Inside Sales experience in a B2B environment preferred
Patience and excellent communication skills
A team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships
Upbeat, dynamic communicator. Flexible “can do” attitude
Proficient PC Skills in Microsoft Office
Enterprise software or technology company experience with an understanding of complex enterprise sales preferred
Experience with prospecting methodologies preferred
Ability to grasp concepts quickly, drive to succeed, and target/results driven
