BA/BS Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent in training and/or experience

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, engineering or business.

- Experience in the semiconductor and/or related business is required.

- Very strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills are necessary.

- Candidate must be bi-lingual (Chinese/Mandarin and English, both writing and speaking).

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential.

- Project management experience is desirable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop new market data reports as instructed by the Director of Industry Research and Statistics, including researching emerging product areas, defining report parameters, identifying and recruiting target participant companies and overseeing implementation of program operations according to established program policies and procedures.

2. Perform primary and secondary market research as instructed to respond to member inquiries and support SEMI marketing, public relations, business development and other activities.

3. Ensure the quality, consistency, credibility and confidentiality of assigned market data reports, including verification of proper participation level and content as outlined by program policies and procedures, recruiting new or non-participating companies where appropriate, working with participants and the accounting firm to identify and resolve any data inaccuracies, and assisting with participant expediting as needed.

4. As requested, write appropriate market-related articles for various industry publications, including SEMI-produced journals and newsletters, and prepare and deliver market briefing presentations to internal and external audiences.

5. Support his/her supervisor in professional consulting services, typical work activities:

- Essentially entrepreneurial in nature and project-based

- Carrying out research and data collection;

- Conducting analysis;

- Preparing proposals/presentations;
