Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the provisioning, support and maintenance of site IoT platform, sensors data and equipment events collection system.
  • Perform software releases and hardware upgrade
  • Proactive system performance and capacity monitoring
• Provide support on IoT sensors integration to Micron Systems
  • Support new sensors and edge device selection and integration.
  • Ensure IoT Sensors connected are compliance with the Micron IoT Sensor Connectivity Guideline.
  • Create/manage common Micron Models on the IoT platform.
• Work with IoT Platform vendors to ensure closure of issues and requests.
• Communicate, collaborate and coordinate on Smart Manufacturing related activities to various level of stakeholders and worldwide site Smart Manufacturing support team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
• Knowledge in any programming language such as Java, Java script and SQL
• For those with good understanding and hands-on experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
  • Good knowledge of Equipment & Sensor data collection.
  • IoT understanding from connectivity and data management perspective
  • Experience with highly scalable REST web services, HTTP and TCP/IP
  • Experience with IoT protocols such as OPC, MQTT and AMQP
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or SQL equivalent database knowledge
• Effective oral and written communication with strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking and project management skills are essential on the job.
