Job Description:

This position will manage a new department within the Western Digital (WD) System Integration Test (SIT) Lab which has the mission of testing WD iNAND memory devices in Mobile applications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Establish new department, via Hiring / Managing key technical skills
2. Set up lab infrastructure to support the mission of this group
3. Establishing collaborative relationships with the following teams:
4. WD Engineering Validation teams
5. WD Customer Support Team (CTS)
6. WD Customer Quality Managers (CQM)
7. Key customer’s technical teams
8. Establish / Leverage tools, automation and knowledge through the WD iNAND Platform test teams.
9. Establish critical relationships with key WD executive team members worldwide.
10. Create test plans that “test like the customer” for the key WD customers of iNAND products.
11. Establish processes that will ensure first time right FW qualifications at WD’s key customers.

Requirements:

1. Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
2. 3-5 years of experience in Mobile Phone Industry
3. 1-2 years of management experience
4. Demonstrated expertise in Mobile Phone Architecture / HW.
5. Demonstrated expertise in Mobile Phone Operating systems
6. Demonstrated expertise in Mobile product validation and quality management.
