Essential Functions:

1. Strategic Sourcing. Maintain strict adherence to professional standards. Identify procedural issues and recommend solutions. Ensure timely follow up. Attend trade shows and advise OTC Merchandising/Sourcing teams of findings. Work with Suppliers/search the internet for new product ideas. Bring new products to the attention of OTC Merchandising/Sourcing.
2. Develop current suppliers. Resolve any supplier issues promptly. Maintain strong professional relationship with current suppliers. Address issues and resolve in a professional manner. Develop new products with current suppliers to build the relationship. Communicate in a timely manner; answer all emails within one day.
3. Develop new suppliers. Find and evaluate all new suppliers with merchandisers prior to presentation to OTC Sourcing. Pre-qualify new suppliers via Company Profile, VBA and review of the company's abilities.
4. Ensure product profitability. Negotiate all aspects of product profitability including price, terms of purchase, payment terms and MOQ.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge and experience in Sourcing
• Proven ability to negotiate and problem solve
• Ability to understand different points of view including the Home Office, supplier, QC and appreciate the difference while working out solutions.
• Good Communication skills
• Excellent excel skill
  
• Detail oriented
• Fluent in English both orally and written
