Function: The Service Engineer is part of the Menlo Systems team for China area. Service engineer handles, supports, and solves technical requests from China customers. This person is responsible for the customer requests assigned. Reports to management in Menlo Systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Handles, supports, and solves technical requests from China customers via email, Skype and phone.

2. Plans, organizes and implements on-site visits to selected customers for after-sale technical support, installation, service and training customers within the China.

计划、安排对既定客户的上门拜访，提供售后技术支持、安装服务和培训。

3. Does in-house technical service and repairs for system that come back to the China factory.

负责对返回国内工厂的产品提供维修服务。

4. Coordinates activities with other service team members as well as with sales team.

5. Strengthens existing customer accounts and network by providing excellent support in academia and industry. Supporting new contacts and sales opportunities.

6. Communicates and reports on a regular basis to quality management in German headquarter.

7. Travel expectation approx. 50%.

Requirements

1. Master's Degree, PhD preferred. Physics, EE, Photonics or related.

物理、光电或相关专业硕士学位，博士优先

2. Preferable 0 to 3 years of technical support experience in relevant industries such as Photonics, Lasers, Optical Fiber, Semiconductor, Life Science Imaging System, etc.

0- 3年相关行业的技术支持经验，包括光子学、激光、光纤、半导体、生命科学成像系统等

3. Demonstrated experience in a customer centric environment

5. This position is directly responsible for connecting to the customers and for keeping and growing the good relationships and network.
