The Sourcing Manager will work within FMC’s Global Procurement Group as a key member of the Professional Services team, responsible for the procurement of professional services across various business functions including, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing in the APAC region. You will be responsible for performing category management activities including, but not limited to, category strategy development, strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost-analysis activities in partnership with finance and the business to identify savings opportunities against management targets

• Manage seamless business partnerships with key functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, legal, HR, marketing, etc.

• Identify, contract with, and manage strategic relationship with operations and capital expenditure suppliers

• Develop and execute subcategory sourcing strategies (e.g. RFI, RFP, RFQ, scorecard and bid analysis, etc.)

• Negotiate supplier contracts utilizing FMC contract templates & procedures

• Manage timely and cost-effective resolution of contractual variations with stakeholders and suppliers

• Integrate best practices and modernized business processes across FMC, ensuring best use of tools, techniques and processes

• Collaborate with FMC’s Global Procurement Group’s Center of Excellence (CoE) team

• Collaborate with functional leads to build subcategory strategies based on a thorough understanding of FMC’s business and external market conditions

   

   

  Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with more than 2-5 years of professional experience within sourcing, procurement, commercial or operations related

• Bring experience with negotiating and contracting complex services

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

• Possess project management and change management skills

• Have experience running tenders (RFx), preferably using e-tools like Ariba or similar

• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively

• Critical thinking and effective problem solving

• Adapt to traveling across Europe to visit local teams and suppliers for change management and training purposes

• Outstanding communication skills in English both written and oral
