Job Description:

1. Follow, Implement and keep updated the PROSA process related  to the areas

2. Knowing all extent, according to BOM for your serviced  parts in the current series

3. Preparation of specifications for assembly and testing  machines as part of the project work according to PROSA process

4. Define, Implement Processes that ensure the mass production  with good quality and considering safety

5. Sample parts Build:              

• Planning with Production the resources needed
• Planning with R&D the raw materials needed for those parts that are new
• Planning with SCM Material Buyer the materials needed for those parts that are carry over
• Preparing the Temporary Work Instructions to explain the sample process
• Plan with Quality the check of all samples before delivery and based on drawing specs and in case that apply deviations approved by customer (which must be confirmed by R&D)
• Prepare the packaging and proper identification according to customer need and confirm to the Program Manager when the package is shipped and provide the tracking number information

6. Machine build:

• To provide a clear specification for the machine build that consider Safety, all failure modes detections or prevention mechanisms, maintenance,
• Define labor and Cycle Time based on the best outcome
• Define the portfolio of products to be consider for the machine, considering making it flexible to produce not just a simple product but many
• Define and confirm the floor space requirement to maximize the use
• Review during the process that they work according to the spec
• Coordinate with all departments (Maintenance/Safety/Quality/Production) the PRE-ACCEPTANCE of the machine before supplier ship to the plant and confirm the open topics if they can be solved after shipment or they must be solved before.              

7. Process Flow:

• Define the process flow for each project and confirm the best practices to avoid waste
• Create Value String Mapping       

8. FMEA:

• Plan and schedule the PFMEA Meeting with the multidisciplinary team with the PFMEA assistant to run it thru the system.
• Determine with the multidisciplinary team the failure modes
• Determine with the multidisciplinary team the actions needed to prevent, detect or improvement actions for each failure mode
• Follow up the actions defined until they are closed and report or escalate if needed
• Participate on DFMEA as an input for the PFMEA                   

9. Participate on the Customer Complain Failure Analysis

10. Support the production manager in the investment planning

11. Support the teams of the production cells with technical issues and problems in the current series

12. Development of proposals for improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes

13. Participation in training courses, seminars, fairs to update the present process technology

14. Integration of TPM requirements in the process layout

15. To keep a master database where all Cycle Times are located with a regular check twice a year to confirm if they are still valid or there is an update.

1. University with a background on Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

2. Have a good command of FMEA, Failure Analysis, 8D, 5Why, Ichikawa, Value String Mapping

3. Have the knowledge of DOE, SPC, Minitab, Cycle Time calculation and check

4. Good communication in both Chinese and English

5. Self-motivated and Leadership

6. Able to determine the urgency level and define when it's needed to escalate

Alfmeier was founded in Germany in the 1960s, devoted to developing the valve and fuel system technology. The Company achieved steady increase in sales and profits and gained a good reputation in the European automotive industry.

Since its inception, Alfmeier Prazision AG has been headquartered in the town of Weisenburg, Bavaria, Germany, aiming to build Alfmeier as a top-ranking auto parts manufacturer in the world. And the nearby Treuchtlingen factory has also adopted the modern testing and engineering facilities to develop the most advanced products and processes.

Alfmeier established a representative office in Shanghai, China, in 2005. The Shanghai representative office was transformed into a trading company in 2007. Since Alfmeier found that it has good business prospects in China, the Company decided to transform the trading company into a manufacturing company. Therefore, Alfmeier set up its first production line in Jinqiao Import and Export Processing Zone, Pudong District, Shanghi in October, 2010. However, due to the explosive growth of businesses in 2012, small scale production cannot meet order demands from customers. Therefore, Alfmeier moved its plant from Pudong District to Qingpu District, establishing a new plant with a gross area of 4,000㎡which was formally set up and put into use in March, 2012. The company develop injection business in the second plant in 2016. With the rapid increase of the production output of the Company, Alfmeier’s all in-service employees have amounted to over 500 in 2020.
