As a Intermediate DevOps Engineer at Pixelmatic, you will lead the technical design and implementation of our networking and net code for our multiplayer games in development. And eager to learn how to use new techniques and software. You have a great eye for detail and know how to communicate with the gameplay team to make sure to get the best in-game performance.

Responsibilities

• Coding back-end logic for new features and updates for our games.
• Deploy and configure servers to support current and new games.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable server-side systems for our games.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize for scalability, efficiency, and maintainability in the most cost effective and practical way.
• Maintain and improve internal reporting, monitoring and administration tools.
• Participate in all aspects of game development, from initial concept to QA and post launch updates.
• Writing clean, commented, and bug-free code.

Requirements

• 2+ years of development experience with Python and/or Go.
• Highly skilled in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mastery of Linux & Shell.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers on Amazon AWS or Aliyun.
• Experience developing REST API or JSON RPC webservices.
• Experience with NoSQL database is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Game development experience preferred.
• Able to find simple and elegant solutions to address complex problems.
• Always learning and able to quickly adapt to new situations and challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Extremely well organized, detail oriented, and manages time efficiency.
• Results driven, accountable, and able to accept feedback and criticism professionally.

要求

• 2年以上Python或Go开发经验
• 熟练运用Docker和Kubernetes
• 精通Linux和Shell
