Job Summary:

Support the Lubrizol SAP Order To Cash Services (Logistics process) by clearly articulating performance gaps, identifying barriers to execution, and developing potential solutions to achieve an integrated and enterprise approach.

Responsibilities:

Interface with Global Centers of Excellence, Business Process Leaders, end users in the logistics area (warehousing, shipping and transportation), and other impacted Stakeholders in the Supply Chain area.

Resolve break-fix issues and participate in projects related to Logistics processes.

Work with users and key stakeholders to define business requirements and convert those requirements into technical specifications.

Propose the most efficient and effective use of systems.

Encourage and implement the use of common business solutions, systems and data within Lubrizol.

Represent the IS organization with process and technical knowledge by playing an active role in projects following the standard project methodology.

Ensure the quality of software changes and additions.

Understand and solve interfacing needs between the ERP and the legacy systems.

Work as a cross-functional team member across technologies, geographies and IS groups.

Work closely within a project team to design and implement business solutions to reach project objectives and goals.

Implement coordinated, standard and uniform solutions within Lubrizol.

Educate colleagues at Lubrizol on SAP and related concepts.

Update and maintain documentation regarding the application, its interfaces and data definitions.

Pursue educational/training opportunities in order to remain current in new and emerging IS technologies.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Competencies):

A Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years of experience within the chemical industry.

5+ years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module with at least two end-to-end implementations.

High degree of knowledge regarding critical SAP master data elements (Customers, Materials, Plants, Business Partners, etc.).

Experience and business understanding of logistics processes – warehousing, shipping and transportation.

High degree of knowledge regarding critical business elements/scenarios for Asia-Pacific region.

Integration experience with other SAP modules like PP, MM, FI, QM, EHS.

Proven experience in overseeing configuration, development, upgrades and implementation of software packages.

Strong analytical skills that translates to high level of problem-solving abilities.

Ability to make decisions appropriate to position in the team, project, IS organization.

Flexible, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.

Must have good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, a self-starter, welcome the opportunity to learn new technologies.

Team player with excellent relationship-building skills.

High degree of customer focus.

Able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload prioritization for self and Team to delivery high quality work products within cost and time constraints.

International mindset – must be able to deal with diverse, international team.

Willingness to travel on a project basis – up to 30% per year. Including potential extended period of time away from home.

Considered a plus:

Lubrizol experience in logistics.

SAP S4 HANA functional or technical experience.

SAP Transportation Management (TM) experience.

Medium to Large project experience.

Knowledge and experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)/idocs (Intermediate documents).

Knowledge and experience with Business Objects, SharePoint, CHaRM, Focus Build, Active Control ( Transport Expresso).
