Purpose :

This position is responsible for preparing, review or approve technical proposals (with independent problem judgment, process evaluation, product selection, application and adaptation of company technologies); performing process data sheet and supply process data sheet to Engineering Team for detail design, preparing technical documentation required within the company; coordinating with Sales and Project for providing technical support in sales activities; interfacing with customers if required and monitoring progress of projects etc.

Responsibility

• Be responsible for new process technology research, new technology development and original process improvement, and verify and improve the corresponding processing technology in combination with the company's new products and product iterations;

• Be responsible for the technical guidance of new product production process, and timely solve the technical problems in the production process;

• Responsible for the process technology path design and continuous optimization of new products in the process of small-scale, medium-scale and enlarged production;

• Monitor and improve process, reduce loss, save cost, improve product quality and process efficiency continuously;

• Participate in the investigation and handling of product quality problems and customer feedback problems;

• Formulate Process Guarantee & go through internal technical risk review

• Supply respective process data sheet to Engineering team for detail design

• Provide technical Service including start-up service, dominate troubleshooting and plant data as well as root cause analysis

• Ensure that essential input data is available from the purchase order and/or Technical appendix

• Ensure that the customer requirements are adequately conveyed and reflected in engineering, manufacturing.

• Establish technical competence and expertise in certain applications

• Ensure environmental friendly process design

• To establish good fundamental of thermal knowledge in the BOYD team

• In-charge of transferring internal process or applications know-how as interface to/from other BOYD regions

• Responsible for the guidance and management of the team.

Requirements:

• 10 Years above related work experience, preferably in Thermal or Engineering Company focused on Process technology/ engineering

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering

• Passion in problem solving and solid analytical skill

• Capability to do technical sales based on personally developed processes based on BOYD application technology

• Capability to develop/adapt new process

• Dynamic, Team-work oriented, flexible and strongly committed to achieve results.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin

• Available for traveling
