Job Summary
As a BI specialist in AIA, you will work with development team and liaise with business users to convert requirements into BI technology solutions (e.g data modeling, ETL and report). You will also need to provide strongly support to make sure the existing BI applications running smoothly and efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Elicit and analyze business requirement

- Create ETL and report design with team

- Design and implement ETL or report according to the functional spec

- Troubleshooting for the existing BI applications

- Create test cases and help design documentation

- Engage in or lead BI related projects through the whole project lifecycle

- Demonstrates strong communication skills in both oral and written

- Any other task assigned by team leader

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
Relevant Experience: Over 5 years related working experience and over 3 years of BI development experience.
Skills/Language
Must have:

- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and Data Warehouse technology

- 3+ years of experience in Oracle database and PL/SQL

- 3+ years of relevant experience in developing reporting with SAP Business Objects(Crystal Report) or IBM Cognos.

- 1+ years of relevant experience in developing ETL with Datastage

- 1+ years of relevant experience in creating and maintaining UNIX/Linux scripts

- Familiar with DBMS like IBM DB2, MS SQL Server

- Strong fundamentals on BI/DW Concepts including ETL, reporting, etc.

- Can design BI solutions independently.

- Manage multi tasks in parallel efficiently.

- Quick learner and strong willingness in learning new technologies

- Be able to work independently under a high pressure

- Be able to work flexibly to take conference call or work for production support in non-working hours

- Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills of both mandarin and English

Nice to have:

- Knowing at least one programming languages: Java, C#, Visual Basic

- Experience in Insurance will be plus
