Position Objective
Responsible for the research and development functions for the department; and to provide technology support to the department and various project teams. Enhances and maintains related systems or platforms with objective to increase the overall productivity and activity ratios within the China's Agency Channel.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management (70%)
Assist project team members (internal) during the development phase of projects in order to ensure various viewpoints and inputs from the Project Director or Head of Agency Technology are factored in.
1.Works with cross-department members when developing the newly interactive business strategy platform;
2.Ensures periodic review of assigned project tasks are on track with functional and performance responsibilities of the platforms or systems;
3.Engages other departments and BU's members to implement training, launch and promotional plans to rollout relevant systems or platforms
4.Designs tracking mechanism on relevant systems or platforms in order to measure relevant user's productivity and activity ratios.
Department Support (30%)
Formulates, aligns and transforms the Head of Agency Technology's direction into the Research and Development's functions within the department:
1.Develops and maintains the Department's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which includes workflow for future User's Requirement (UR), and System Changes Request (SCR) with the Administration and Support Team;
2.Provides periodic reviews of content and technology issues on relevant systems or platforms in order to give the best tools for our agents;
3.Recommends future interactive initiatives to the Head of Agency Technology.
Job Requirements
· Education-University graduate with 3+ years experience. Candidates with less education but more relevant working experience are welcomed to apply as well
· Track record in system support, development, technology related project management or MIS AND previous experience in bank, insurance or other financial institutions are required
· Basic Knowledge of iOS, X-code (objective C), Oracle, MS SQL Server, MIS, database management, or AS 400 will be a plus
· Creative disposition to develop new initiatives, and to effectively communicate such concepts to the Head of Agency Technology
· Proficient presentation and communication skills in English and Mandarin to convince entity stakeholders on the importance of adopting the interactive systems or platforms
· Proactive and a problem solver in a very fast moving industry or environment.
