Job description:
1.Work with a group engineers to design innovative, cost effective optical sub-assemblies (OSA) for high speed transceiver and transponders.
2.Be responsible for design and simulation of free-space optical assemblies (OSA) with basic elements including semiconductor lasers, lenses, prisms, filters, etc.
3.Collaborate with optical, electrical, packaging design engineers and process development engineers to fulfill an OSA design with consideration of all aspects.
Requirement:
4.Be familiar with new product introduction (NPI) processes and be involved in the phases of concept, prototype, development and manufacturing of the products.

Skill/Qualification:
1.MS or Ph.D. with specialization in physics, optics device design or related majors Familiar with semiconductor laser and photo diode physics and device design
2.Be familiar with OSA assembly processes (epoxies, solder, welding) as well as system alignment techniques
3.Self motivated, strong problem-solving capabilities and a good team player;
4.Good command of English (both spoken and written);
