工作职责：
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BS with at least 5 years of relevant experience or MS with at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred)

Knowledge/experience in high volume fabrication processes including metal stamping, die casting and plastic injection molding

Prior design experience in high volume products such as optical transceivers, cell phones, laptops, or other consumer products

Proven track record of successfully developing/transferring products into high volume manufacturing including frequent interaction with manufacturing teams both as part of transfer activities and ongoing cost/yield improvements

Proficiency with SolidWorks mechanical design software

Expertise on dimensioning/tolerancing, metrology, GD&T, and experience in FEA (incl. thermal simulation) is preferred

Excellent communication, planning, organizational, & interpersonal skills

职位要求：
Design and develop high volume optical transceiver products from initial concept to production release

Implement optimized solutions incorporating applicable industry standards, relevant customer specifications, and all thermal and EMI performance requirements

Work closely with other design groups, support the team by providing appropriate design reviews, committing to development schedules, and meeting project milestones

Release and maintain drawings per established engineering change order process

Work with process engineers, production, supply chain and various suppliers to achieve acceptable yields/costs and ensure manufacturability

Travel with supply chain to interact with domestic and foreign suppliers to ensure quality of parts and products
