Requirements:
MS+ in Optics, Physics, Engineering or Communications.
5+ years' related professional experience and 3+ years' experience in sales, marketing or product management
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Familiar with research processes and project management
Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire internal teams and drive growth
Knowledge of fiber optics or communications markets and industries a plus
Fluency in written and oral English
Responsibilities:
Profit & Loss - Own and drive Profit & Loss for product line and report directly to management
Pricing - Manage all pricing for these products and approve all customer prices
Customers - Develop and cultivate customer relationships. Sell Finisar, evangelize product line, understand account base, develop understanding of new opportunities and market direction.
New Products & Roadmaps - Define detailed customer requirements and create business case for new product; use market information to define new product directions and roadmaps
