In order to support the high speed growth, PEER China now invites high caliber personnel to take up the position of Central Quality Engineer. The position will be located in Shanghai and report to Central Quality Manager.



Job Summary

The Central Quality Engineer will assist Central Quality Manager to create and maintain PEER group quality system, to co-ordinate projects and activities to improve PEER group product and service quality.


Key Responsibilities

? Develop PEER group Quality Management System (QMS), e.g. create group quality manual, procedures & work instructions wherever required

? Co-ordinate PEER group QMS certifying activities, participate in activities to maintain group certifications

? Co-ordinate internal & external audit activities of PEER group

? Co-ordinate, monitor & report on Corrective Action activities, provide support when required

? Monitor & report on PEER group quality performance, suggest & participate in improvement projects when dissatisfaction occurs

? Co-ordinate, monitor & report on customer complaint activities, provide support when required

? Liaise with other departments to ensure PPAP, APQP, PCP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc are complied with ISO/TS 16949 standards and are proper managed

? Actively involved in activities to create a healthy quality culture, this may include workshops, seminars and other formats

? Prepare and submit Central Quality Monthly Meeting Report (CQ MMR)

? Provide backup and support to other units on quality functions when required


Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

? Bachelor's Degree, preferable in quality management, engineering, or related majors

? Minimum 5 years experience in factory quality management role while bearing manufacturing will be advantageous

? Experienced in ISO 9001 and ISO/TS16949

? Familiar with Excel, Word, PPT and other computing tools

? Ability to write, read and speak in English

? Ability to write procedures and work documents in both Chinese & English

? Ability to analyze data and generate reports

? Good communication and interpersonal skills

? Good work ethic and self motivation

? Ability to work in a team
