Job Title : Finance Analyst

Purpose of the role

This role is responsible for coordinating financial analysis and support to the Great China Tag business and providing financial reporting and analysis to the global Tag business and managing accounting activities for Great China Tag business.

Report to Finance Manager Tag GC

Specific area of responsibility

Financial:

· Governance of use of legacy systems within the business ensuring that it is properly utilised, interfaces with and reconciles to the accounting system and is able to provide adequate reporting to the business (in particular with relation to supplier accruals and work-in-progress)

· Providing information and back-up for client invoicing, assist in preparation of local invoices.

· Provide client specific reporting for internal and external use

· Accounts Receivables - follow up with SOA & reconciliation of outstanding invoices.

· Work on cashflow forecast by monitoring all AR and vendor payment.

· Work with account service team for mid-month forecast

· Perform month end tasks to ensure accuracy of revenue reconciliation against legacy system and cost reconciliation

· Work closely with sourcing team and local tax agency for export tax refunding, matching of export revenue and cost. (Mainland China only)

· Analysis for tax, statutory accounting and other compliance reporting

· Calculation and submission of tax returns, reconciliation of VAT between statutory books Vs Corporate books.

· Export declaration and VAT refund submission (Mainland China only)

· Support all statutory and taxation filing requirements in accordance to regulatory requirements and ensuring submission timelines are met

· Primary point of contact for bank, audit and other government agencies (i.e. Tax authority)

· Primary point of contact for treasury of Tag

· Approval and coding of supplier invoices

· Accounts Payable – Support the Accounts payable by liaison with Accenture, manage payment cycle, reply to vendor queries.

· Preparation/Review of monthly financial performance reports

· Support preparation of annual budgets and regular in-year reforecasts

· Management of suppliers, review of operational expenses and preparation of plans to drive cost efficiencies

· Support delivery of reporting cycles for the Tag business unit

· Ensure that all financial processes and controls within the Tag business are in place and adhered to

· Assisting the external auditor for the year end audit

· Any other ad-hoc job

Candidate Profile:

· Good command of Excel will be crucial given the nature of the responsibilities

· Good communication skills – Chinese and English

· Graduate with more than 3-year experience

· Financial Accounting experience is essential, given the nature of the role

· Experience on statutory reporting and support

· Experience of managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function

· Experience on export tax refunding is preferred.
