Job Title:

- Siemens SRE Asia Australia operations & Standards Transaction Management Manager (OS TM)
From Siemens Real Estate Asia Australia, Siemens are looking to recruit an experienced Transaction Management Manager.

Our Mission of function:
- This position in the SRE Region Asia-Australia organization will be responsible for directing Transaction Management (TM), for North East Asia, South East Asia, ASEAN-Pacific and Japan. He/she will lead a virtual international team and is responsible for directing the development and implementation of transaction strategies within the Asia-Australia. He/She will lead the execution of all large complex transactions within the Region and is responsible for directly engaging with Sr. executives of customers and managing expectations throughout the transaction process.

- The head of OS TM engages with the SRE management, customers and strategic partners/vendors as an expert resource to ensure execution of the transaction strategy he/she will have directly established. He/She is the key relationship manager with cross-cluster investors and landlords across region.

- The OS TM person reports to the Head of Operations & Standards and engages with the SRE executive management on a regular basis providing transparency to the ongoing transactions including risk / opportunity analysis. It is the responsibility of OS TM to present forward thinking / strategic advice to SRE senior management as it pertains to transaction strategy. He/she will lead the monitoring of market developments and conduct ongoing reviews of local real estate portfolio in order to develop a transaction strategy in cooperation with HoRA and SRE global headquarters (G-HQ),

- The candidate must a have advanced experience in multiple corporate real estate disciplines (e.g. Asset & Property Management, Portfolio Management, CRE, development and construction projects, real estate related aspects of M&A projects) with a special focus on Transactions. (Planning, reviewing, negotiating, executing, post transaction auditing)

- He / she is responsible for directing transactions associated with large and extremely complex new construction programs across the Asia-Australia and ensuring the standards for transactions are aligned with SRE global headquarters.

What are my responsibilities?
- Essential Job Functions:
- Advanced leadership and working cross border
- The candidate must possess expert leadership skills to direct and lead the team of senior professionals reporting to him/her. This requires an individual who can lead by example and demonstrate best practice cross-cultural and cross - country work behavior and effectively work with global and regional counterparts.
- Execute transactions within the Region and preparation and review of business cases
- The head of OS TM is responsible for directing the preparation of transactions, including managing the necessary approval process. He/She is ultimately responsible for assuring the quality of transaction execution including the business case development or reviews, the full-scope execution, coordinating will all involved partners and leading contracting efforts in select cases. He/She will lead and direct post transaction activities where required working in conjunction with the countries and clusters.
- Achieve given business targets set in the annual target setting / regional targets.

Standards
- The head is responsible for the standards for the transaction process across the Asia-Australia aligned to the Global - HQ. He/She must be a demonstrated expert with real estate concepts; in particular transactions (purchase & sales…) to engage with countries / clusters of the Asia-Australia to ensure transactions are being executed with a high quality. The head of OS TM has to provide regular / ongoing transparency for all transactions and provides planning and forecasting information to the Head of OS and SRE Sr. Management.
- Domestic and International Travel is required.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Education/Qualification
- 10 years of professional experience, in significant Real Estate functions
- 7 years focusing on leading large complex / multi faced transactions
- BS/BA in engineering or business, MBA or advanced real estate or advanced degree preferred.
- Very good command in English in writing and verbal, additional language skills preferred but not required
- Own hands experience and track record within the Real Estate market in Asia, preferable in China and India

Skills
- Advanced understanding of Real Estate concepts (Transactions, co-location, sale lease back, lease management…)
- Must have demonstrated ability to effective engage with executive stakeholders to build/foster relationships
- Strong financial acumen and negotiating skills as it pertains to Real Estate transactions
- Mentoring / Employee management – Must have demonstrable ability to mentor employees and provide guidance.
