POSITION SUMMARY:
ISC seeks an Accountant to support all areas of finance and administration for ISC,s Shanghai office. The candidate must have a background in accounting and finance, as well as experience in the areas of logistics, operations and procurement. S/he must be able to maintain project records, which support a dual accounting system, which meets both Chinese and US government requirements.
The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of the ISC program by ensuring efficient and compliant systems for financial, human resources, and administrative operations.
S/he will be responsible for daily accounting activities, generating financial reports, administering office purchases of equipment and supplies, payroll processing and maintaining all financial documents as well as the office,s clerical systems and inventory log.
S/he will also work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial management and reporting.
