Definition 

To handle Hardgoods orders as well as few of circular merchandising activities for Vertbaudet, covering sourcing, sampling, order coordination production follow up, quality coordination, shipment follow-up, suppliers training and liaison with buyers, to ensure the achievement of business objectives.

Principal missions   Order Tracking l  Take full responsibility from the order received till the goods shipped. l  Analyze the order upon receipt l  Work actively with the samples together with technician. l  Prepare and send samples to suppliers or HQ. l  Work actively with risk assessment on fabric and sample quality tests and communicate with suppliers. l  Keep track of suppliers production plan to ensure on time delivery. l  Keep close contact with the suppliers to know status of orders at all times l  Be proactive and initiatives to solve problems in the production. Diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present viable alternatives to both buyers and local manager. l  Secure deadlines to ensure on time delivery. l  Train suppliers Communication l  Create a good dialogue with buyers and assistant buyers in HQ. Understand their needs and act accordingly. l  Prepare & participate together with your buyers the development & negotiation meetings with buyers etc. l  Work and strengthen cooperation with Quality and Technician teams/suppliers to ensure bulk products meet specification/quality standard, negotiate claims etc. Reporting l  Prepare & follow bench marking program. l  Update daily ”production status”.

REQUIREMENTS                                                                                                        

- College or Above. Preferable major in Garment/Textile or International Trade.

- At least 10 years experience as Hardgoods Senior Merchandiser for European market (main categories: Indoor Wooden Furniture for kids, wooden Toys, Decoration, Nurturing products all for kids)

-Experience of Hardgoods production with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trading company from similar position is preferred.

- Familiar with Hardgoods compliance/testing standard and inspection standard.

- With sound knowledge of hardgoods production

- Business minded and interest in Kids products

- Be aggressive, organized, self-motivated, pro-active, hard-working and good performance under pressure.

- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to fit new and unusual situations to achieve business goals

- Effective methods for delivering qualified service to headquarters.

- A team player.

- A high level of attention to detail.

- Willing to travel nationally regularly

- Good command of Excel, Word, PPT and so on for office software.

- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin in both written and oral
