DEFINITION

To smooth implementation of company quality control in all aspects of manufacturing process.

To establish, implement and sustain quality parameters/standards and deploy it effectively by training, documentation and other appropriate means across all production areas. Ensure production of garments adhere to Vertbaudet quality standard and requirements by periodically conducting quality inspection.

Principal missions QUALITY CONTROL l Implement the Quality Assurance System in China. l Provide strong technology support to factories and right information to Sr. merchandiser team before and during the manufacturing process. l Follow up bulk production status if needed l Ensure a pre-prod meeting is conducted at the factory premises (when needed), anticipate quality issues that may arise during production process, ensure the implementation of preventive action to avoid any conformity in production. l Perform a strict inline and a final inspection (when needed) ensuring the required Vertbaudet quality standard is met by all factories l Provide technical support to our factories, the merchandisers or buyers to ensure product quality. l Monitor productions closely when need to ensure quality meets specifications and that there is no quality claim. l Work closely with Quality Manager and the Quality team in France implement product quality control procedures and training for all suppliers/ factories to monitor the quality process. l Ensure the test procedures according to HQ’s orientation and European regulation. l Analyze the claims related to quality problems and propose solutions for immediate correction or improvement. l Evaluate and measure all new suppliers and recommend separation when failed to improve. l Set up, assist and help factories to improve quality for the long term. l Inspect materials, accessories, parts, components and products for color, measurements, labels and overall quality. l Ensure implementation of factory auditing CAP and CSR. COMMUNICATION l Assure a good cooperation between “QA” and ‘Sr Merchandisers’ they must add value for each other. l Ensure timely communication in a proactive manner with merchandising/production teams on production and factory issues which may cause late deliveries. l Investigate reasons for product rejection. Reporting l Provide advices to align Vertbaudet quality procedures. l Prepare monthly Kpis (if needed) l Work closed with Quality Manager to review the passing rate and claim rate.

REQUIREMENTS

- College or Above. Preferable major in Mechanical.

- At least 15 years experiences in quality control of Kids hardgoods products as furniture, nursing, toys, and other accessories in an International company for European market with at least 5 years

- Experience of hardgoods production with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trading company from similar position is preferred.

- With sound knowledge on Wood, Plastic and Metal products linked to kids.

- With sound product knowledge on all kinds of kids furniture, toys and nursing familiar with European standards and social compliance.

- With sound knowledge of hardgoods testing standards and product compliance.

- Solid experience of factory auditing and inspections (Inline/final), familiar with AQL standard.

- Strong communication skills. solution oriented, handle stress well, responsible, honest.

- Strong leadership skills
