OBJECTIVES:

1. Cross-regional technical service
2. Cross-country coordination and technical advice
3. Country support for formulation adjustment and customer trials

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To supervise, manage and provide expert opinion for regional technical topics for the Construction sub-segments Sandwich Panel, Reefer, Spray Foam, Cryogenic, Pipe and Construction CASE
2. To coordinate and lead team of (sub)regional technical experts
3. To manage formulations of construction products for the entire region
4. To act as the major contact point between RBU and countries as well as TRDC and countries
5. To align regional technical efforts
6. To develop regional network with testing lab, regulation authority and government body
7. To develop partnership with polyol and additive suppliers

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor or above, major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, High-polymer or Material Science
2. Prefer more than 5 years of experience in PU industry, with Tecnical Service/Technical Sales background within the polyurethane system supplier landscape
3. Specialized in rigid foam applications (at least more than 5 years experience), preferably in the Construction area
4. Experience in formulation and processing of PU systems (at least more than 5 years experience), preferably for sandwich panel (continuous, discontinuous)
5. Preferably additional experience of formulation and processing of PU systems for insulation boards, laminated boards, block foam and/or spray foam
6. Well skilled in technical PU system formulation to meet specific customer needs
7. Well experienced to run customer trials and modify processing paramters to apply PU systems at customer machines
8. Good direct and interpersonal communication skills for cross-country interaction within Asia Pacific (ca. 15 different countries and cultures)
9. Very good English needed, other Asian languages preferred (e.g. Chinese, Korean, Japanese)
10. Travel: ca. 50%.
11. Location: Hong Kong, Shanghai (China) or Daejon (Korea)
