JOB OBJECTIVES:

To provide assistance to lab leader as required and to achieve the objective of Cellasto R&D activities on product development in an effective way.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To formulate and execute self-conceived or assigned R&D projects and technical topics to demonstrate the technical advantages of new/innovative products or process as a member of team.
2. To identify and conceive of way to improve current products and process by analyzing their performance using available scientific and patent information.
3. To conduct lab trials, machine trials in the way of well planned, efficiency and target-orientated. Take part in site trials for new products.
4. To write comprehensive reports and evaluations on data obtained from experimentation.
5. To be responsible for raw material management: monitor raw material inventory according to materials/samples consumption to support supervisor to ensure minimum inventory needs to achieve cost efficiency without interruption of R&D activities due to lack of material; support to order raw material and ensure the quality and quantity meet requirements.
6. To act as EHS representative of Cellasto prototyping lab: maintain work place in good condition and meet BASF EHS requirements; apply updated MSDS of new raw materials/chemicals, including label system for chemicals and samples in lab, disposal of expired chemicals and lab samples.
7. To cooperate with technical service/production/quality control/marketing to optimize the manufacturing process, set up specification, solve field problem and give technical support accordingly.
8. To become expert in one or more areas of technology relevant to the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. PHD or Master degree, major in Chemistry or related major.
2. Minimal 2 years working experiences in polyurethane industrial.
3. Formulation skills and polyurethane industrial experineces.
4. Advanced English skills, able to delivery technial presentation in English.
5. Good communication skills and good team spirit.
