A. Primary purpose of role:

The role is to act as a finance business partner to RTD and At-Home platforms to

- Partner RTD and At-Home team to drive the agenda of revenue growth, including but not limited to RGM, NPD, new category entry, new business models, etc.

- Act as one key contact to liaise with Coca-Cola System

- Act as Category Finance to develop long-range plans/annual business plans/monthly rolling forecasts, track actual performance against the targets, perform financial & business analysis to identify risks & opportunities derived from the operations, and drive resource allocation across platforms

- Perform profit sharing schemes to be implemented on time in full

- Conduct marketing spend and operating expense management

This role requires work within and outside finance to effectively translate strategy into viable business cases with solid financial projection, analysis and adequate governance. Key stakeholders include cross-functional teams across Costa/Coca-Cola System.

B. Key Accountabilities:

1. Partner RTD and At-Home team to drive the agenda of revenue growth, including but not limited to RGM, NPD, new category entry, new business models, etc.
2. Act as one key contact to liaise with Coca-Cola System
3. Develop annual business plans and track actual performance against the targets, prepare monthly rolling forecasts, and perform financial & business analysis to identify risks and opportunities derived from the operations
4. Prepare routine System financials and work with finance teams to implement the aligned schemes of profit sharing on a regular basis
5. Conduct dynamic resources allocation of trade and marketing spend, and perform regular budget tracking and variance analysis

C. Key Performance Measures/Success Factors:

1. Build good rapport with the stakeholders and provide financial support
2. Deliver annual targets of revenue and profit
3. Address all the requests from and financial submissions to Global on time in full
4. Smoothly implement profit sharing schemes on time in full
5. Ensure all the expenditures are effectively and efficiently controlled to support revenue growth with no significant audit issues identified

D. Required knowledge, skills or experience

1. 5+ years Commercial Finance/Finance BP/PPM experience, preferably in top FMCG/Retail companies and/or with experience in Franchise business
2. Proven ability to effectively work and communicate across functions in a bilingual manner, influence and deliver results in a dynamic and complex environment
3. Strong analytical and strategic thinking, storytelling and Excel financial modelling capabilities
4. Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and enthusiasm to drive changes
5. Proficiency in GAAP and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.)

The Costa Coffee story began back in 1971, when two Italian brothers – Sergio and Bruno – arrived in London with a burning desire to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life. In 1981 they opened the first coffee shop in the heart of London, from here the Costa family continued to expand across London, the UK and eventually the globe.
