Working with Sourcing, your mission is to build product that delivers end to end value, quality and alignment to our brand principles for the guest through our ethical and responsible sourcing practices.

As a member of the team, your primary functions are to achieve TSS financial plans by partnering with Headquarter (HQ) counterparts and business partners through product life cycle management for assigned categories and geographic markets. 

As a Merchandiser, your principle roles and responsibilities will be:

• Manage vendors throughout product design and development to ensure risk assessment and capacity planning are focused, and Vendor Matrixes and planning aligned are with merchandising strategies.
• Conduct costing and negotiation with all components and in-country environment information included to meet set business objectives. 
• Manage vendor execution and collaborate with cross functional teams for any issue resolutions to ensure quality and on time-delivery and products are sourced responsibility and ethically throughout sourcing cycle.
• Support post shipment issues, e.g. claim resolution and settlement.
• Support vendor performance elevation and new vendor onboarding according to brand/merchandising strategies.
• Demonstrate commitment to Target Values, being inclusive and upholding an ethical culture for Target business and supply chain.

About you:

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 year University/College degree or equivalent experience
• 0-4 years of sourcing and/or merchandising experience
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders under multiple cultural background
• Good command of English skills
• Good problem solving, negotiation, and planning & organizational skills
• Self-driven and self-motivated approach
• Willing to travel

Desired Requirements:

• Knowledge of required products and sourcing operations
• Experience with well-known brand Buying Offices from US and European retailors
