Position: Procurement Associate

Start Date: Immediate hire

Location: Shanghai, China

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Procurement
• Project Management
• Market Research
• Supply Chain Management

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with key suppliers, effectively representing the firm, clearly communicating project requirements, and setting proper expectations.
• Communicate supplier capabilities and limitations to other team members.
• Conduct market research and due diligence to keep abreast of industry conditions and to develop supplier base.
• Formulate and refine key performance metrics. Drive continuous improvements by conducting regular reviews of suppliers.
• Closely coordinate with other departments to identify potential problems and opportunities for cost reductions, quality and efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare purchase plans, devise forecasts, and negotiate purchase contracts to guarantee timely and cost-effective production.
• Track all orders and provide updates to other departments. Ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with, and provide support for, staff in logistics, quality control, and account management departments.
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers and service providers.
• Report to Procurement Director, providing regular updates about the status of each project.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, project management, or related areas
• Currently living in China
• Fluent Chinese language ability
• Fluent English language ability
• Excellent written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Highly organized
• Strong time-management skills
• Strong negotiation skills and leadership skills
• Proactive, with the ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong work ethic
• Integrity

主要职责：

• 管理与主要供应商的关系，有效地代表公司，明确沟通项目要求，设定适当的预期。
• 与团队其他成员沟通供应商的能力和局限性。
• 尽职谨慎地进行市场研究，以便及时了解行业情况，开发新供应商。
• 制定、完善关键绩效指标。通过定期进行供应商评审，促进持续改进。
• 与其它部门密切协调，发现潜在问题，寻找机会降低成本、提高质量和效率、减少风险。
• 准备采购计划，设计采购预测，谈判采购合同，以保证及时、有效地生产。
• 跟踪所有订单情况，为其它部门提供更新的信息，保证订单及时执行并完成。
• 与物流部门、质量控制部门和客户管理部门协调并提供支持。
• 保证及时付款给供应商和服务商。
• 向采购总监报告，定期提供所有项目的最新状态。

任职要求：

• 本科学历。
• 在采购、供应链管理 、项目管理等相关领域有丰富的经验。
• 目前居住在中国。
• 流利的中文能力。
• 流利的英文能力。
• 良好的书面表达沟通能力。
