Nurun China Consulting Inc., a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc., is looking to fill the following position in its head office in Shanghai:

Senior Flash Developer
Permanent, Full time position

The Senior Flash Developer position is ideal for candidates with 3 - 5 years of proven software development experience. With your mastery of Action Script, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Flash for existing and future websites and other installations. Working with our exceptional development team, you will have a significant level of responsibility within our company and will be expected to influence the development direction.

Report to
? IT and Development Director
? Works with Technical Architect and Technical Team Lead reporting jointly to the Project Manager

Responsibilities
? Develop procedures to solve complex technical problems
? Develop functional documentation based on user requirements
? Design, build, test, release and maintain flash components of websites;
? Assist Project Manager, Technical Lead and Technical Architect to provide detailed work estimates
? Work with Project Manager to ensure timely delivery and execution of completed flash site builds
? Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate developers

Qualifications
? Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering
? Minimum 3 years' software development experience with Flash, ActionScript and Object-oriented programming
? Experienced in HTML, CSS, Javascropt and CSS programming
? Experienced in integrating flash applications with external services (REST, SOAP Webservices)
? Experienced in development in a .NET or PHP environment

? Good written and verbal communication skills
? Problem solving and process driven

Desired Skills
? Certifications in technology platforms, such as ActionScript
? Solid knowledge and experience of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
? Proficient knowledge of the Flash Platform
? Basic knowledge of video compression and editing software;
? Expertise in After Effects will be a plus
? Interest and knowledge for mobile development will be a plus
