Product Manager- Juice

Participate in developing and implementing an innovative, competitive and economically sustainable product line as well as portfolio strategy for the designated product groups based on the BU strategy for the improvement of the profit situation and market penetration.



Job Discription

- Participate in developing and implementing an innovative, competitive and economically sustainable product line as well as portfolio strategy for the designated product groups based on the BU strategy
- Define product range selection of existing and innovative products in defined product groups in coordination with Sales, R&D, BU and the executive manager.
- Elaborate product information together with R&D, RPD and PM for Sales, communicate innovations of the product groups and conduct inhouse trainings.
- Elaborate and conduct customer presentations together with Sales.
- Conduct market investigations in order to find new marketing opportunities in regard to new raw materials, technologies, concepts and products and implement necessary measures.
- Observe the profit development and sales activities of the designated products in the particular markets and the product groups according to defined KPIs (sales volume, total revenue, market share, etc.) as well as develop and implement measures for the improvement of the profit situation.
- Participate in defining product lines and minimum prices (as well as price margins) in coordination with Sourcing and Pricing Desk and, if necessary, escalation with Sales and executive manager.

Skills & Qualifications:


- Experience and knowledge in B2B sales, preferably by selling additives or ingredients into the beverages industry.
- Technical sales background in order to understand the process streams
- Ability to work independently, on the base of target agreements
- Capability to take over the responsibility for a business segment
- High level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Strong communication skills, intercultural skills preferably too.
- Willingness for frequent travelling
- Fluent English and/or German skills are indispensable
