We are the sourcing office of an EU retailer. We're looking for below candidate to join our team in Shanghai.

Senior Merchandiser – hardgoods高级外贸采购跟单

Responsibilities

- Supplier relationship management;

- Supplier performance management;

- New supplier sourcing, new product development and supplier evaluation;

- Work with and assist the factories on sample development stage.

- Responsible for the proper follow up of assigned inquiries;

- Responsible for the administration tasks related to order issuing and follow up on specific orders, to ensure smooth request-to-shipment execution.

- Organize and prioritize daily workload in order to focus on company’s long-term interest and in accordance with weekly procedural assignments;

- Coordinate with QC, supplier & logistic provider...etc to resolve any quality and shipment issues;

- Attend trade fairs to learn new market trend;

- Other tasks assigned by the manager;

  

Requirements

- University graduate;

- 8+ years experience in trading company/buying/sourcing office;

- Strong sourcing experience in hardgoods. 

- Familiar with Toys/Seasonal/Crafts/Stationary/Furniture/Home Deco/Hobby products, etc. Toys sourcing experience is preferred;

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and flexible to constantly change schedule and priorities;

- Fluent in English;

- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;

- Proactive, detail-oriented and self-motivated with sense of urgency;

- Able to work under pressure;

- Good PC skills
