POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate, standardize and align Advantek Global Logistics practices and activities to ensure the seamless flow of products and materials across all sites.

Manage Qualification and Performance Management of Logistics Service Provider to support over-all business goal.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· In-Charge of the Global Logistics Service provider qualification and performance management to support over-all business goal.

· Negotiate & manage Global Logistics Service Providers Rates & Service Level Agreement.

· Set, monitor, report & control Global Logistics Service Provider Key Performance Measures.

· Provide annual Freight budget projection based on APP commitment.

· Support Sales & Operations Planning by providing Freight plan & budget based on the Build and Buy plan.

· Closely monitor, report & control the company's Global Logistics Spending.

· Manage & control local logistics, warehousing and distribution center activities to meet Customer requirements.

· Identify & set over-all logistics & warehousing key performance measures to support LEAN Mfg. Operations.

· Coordinate & update Global logistics performance & activities with the SCM leadership team.

· Initiate alignment & implement standardize Logistics, Warehousing & DC practices across all operating sites in Advantek.

· Identify, plan & execute Logistics & Distributions Cost Saving Initiatives.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

· Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in regional logistics and warehousing. Experience working in freight forwarder or 3PL industries will be a plus.

· Proven track record in leading cost saving projects and initiatives.

· Understand ISO standards and implementation.

· Understand and has experienced working on LEAN principles.

· Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international, cross-cultural work environment.

· Has experienced working in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably in AX.

· Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems.

· Ability to simplify, translate and communicate complex concepts.

· Results-oriented with strong business acumen.

· Possess outstanding negotiation skills and conflict resolution.

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Functionally responsible to over-all Advantek Logistics & Warehousing Operations.
