Description:

As a Software/QA Engineer in the Flash Systems Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the software team that designs, develops, debugs, and validates system software for NAND and NAND like devices produced by Micron.

Responsibilities include:

1. Low level NAND and NAND like device driver software development.

2. Low level NAND and NAND like device driver software debugging.

3. Quantify NAND and NAND like device performance running on a platform for an operating system.

4. Generate software development and testing documentation

5. Provide software QA support.

6. Provide customer support for the usage and debugging of our products at customer location

7. Demonstrate product at customer location

8. Work closely with US team to fulfill local customer software requests

9. Update US team on the market trend for NAND and NAND like device software usages and development.

Qualifications:

1. Hands on software driver development experiences for one or more of the following OS: Android, Embedded Linux, ThreadX, Windows Mobile, or Windows CE OS.

2. Hands on software driver development experiences for one or more of the following chipsets: Qualcomm MSM7X, Qualcomm QSD8X, Marvell Tavor P65/PV2/TD/ULC/PXA920/ASPEN, TI OMAP 3430, Leadcore A2K, or T3G 6718, BYD (Sony Ericsson)

3. File system development experience, block driver development experience, NAND driver development experience, or MMC driver development experience

4. Able to Program in "C" language.

5. Able to read and apply schematic information.

6. Able to read and apply datasheet information.

7. Able to develop test plan

8. Able to implement test case

9. Able to communicate in English for verbal, reading, and writing

10. 5+ years of related working experiences for BS or 3+ years of related working experiences for MS.

Education:

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
